Lives and works in New York City. History of Art and Human Biology at Stanford University (1986–1988)Film at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University (1988–1989), and later completed a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art at Stanford (1990–1992). In 2007–2009, they earned a Master of International Affairs in Environmental Policy and International Finance & Policy from the School of International and Public Affairs.The artist has participated in notable group exhibitions including “Nasty Women” at Knockdown Center, New York (2017), and “Cyborg” at Zurcher Gallery, New York (2015), curated by William Corwin in collaboration with Katie Holten. In 2017, they presented A Secret installation in Düsseldorf.Their practice includes a series of actions and performances such as “Crumbs and Lint on Gallery Floors” (2016–present), presented in multiple international cities; “Building Blocks” (Chilmark, 2002–2003); “Santa Monica Boulevard” (Los Angeles, 1994); and “Sub-Zero Vintage Dress” (Tribeca, 1993).
